AN IMPORTANT NOTE YOU SHOULD READ, ABOUT "BACKLOADING" If you are contemplating buying anything on the internet or on the telephone:
Often when you order parts online or on the phone, the retailer you are dealing
with will pull a sneak on you called "backloading" your order. What will happen
is this: You'll see an attractive price for the items you want to buy, and call
them up to order. You'll get the quoted price, but then will spend several minutes
on the phone giving them your shipping info, credit card #, etc, and then finally
you'll be informed that the shipping is astronomical. Another very common backloading
technique is to charge you "SALES TAX". Unless you reside in the same state
as the merchant, there is no such "sales tax"; they are simply jacking you for
7% of your total, which they will pocket as pure profit. But after making the
customer suffer through a long telephone order, many will simply concede, so
they can get the parts on the way, and be done with it.
We refuse to "backload" our customers, and the reason is very simple: It
is Dishonest. We believe that Honesty and Customer Satisfaction are the
two concepts that make a good business a great business, and we will never waiver
from that philosophy.
